Niger project succeeded in the first logging job

| Niger project succeeded in completing the first logging job！Well SAHA-1 and providing high quality logging data in Niger on Nov 12 , 2006. This well was complex with geological conditions , such as soft formation , leakage,washout and had a large well diameter greater than 20 inches. In these conditions, the logging crew prepared the job carefully , made and optimized the QHSE |

plan according to the HSE requirements and operation manual. All the difficulties were overcome and the MSFL/DLL/DAL/GR/CN/ZDL/SWC service was delivered to the client in an efficient manner. One particular difficulty was that the formation from 650-700 meter was not clear before logging due to the loss of mud return and cuttings. The logging crew managed to get sidewall cores in very rough well conditions and achieved a success rate of 88%. Analysis on the formation cores brought a definite picture of the formation to the client. |

This safe and efficient operation gained praise from the client. It firmed and extended the CNLC logging market share in Niger. With this successful achievement, the Niger project, including mudlogging, wireline logging and welltesting services, is prepared and ready to face the Niger market competition. |
