Wireline Conveyed Perforating (WCP)
WCP includes two types of operations: cased perforating and through tubing perforating. The through tubing perforating means that the explosive chain is conveyed by wireline through tubing thus creating an initial underbalance between the formation and borehole. The cased perforating is an overbalance perforating in common conditions to control the well pressure. However the effectiveness of the cased perforating is relatively better than that of the through tubing perforating due to the bigger OD of the carrier and the charge being filled with more explosive.

Tubing Conveyed Perforating (TCP)
TCP provides a means for completion wells to use the natural formation pressure to flush the completion debris into the wellbore immediately after perforating. Typically, high-performance cased perforators of several hundreds meters long are attached to the tubing strings beneath a packer.

  • Reducing the risks associated with hostile environments involving H2S and high bottom hole pressure
  • Tandem connections contain no high explosives
  • Reduced operation time result in saving rig time
  • The existence of the differential pressure between the formation and wellbore while perforating can flush the completion debris into the wellbore
  • Formation can be protected effectively thanks to the under balance
  • Mechanical gun release can be chosen to complete other operations such as oil production, production logging and so on
  • Wide application - it can be used in high deviated wells and horizontal wells in which the wireline type has a lot of difficulty to perforate accurately

Capsule Detonating Crossover
The capsule detonating crossover was designed to reduce pollution problems and operating hazards. The device is set at both ends of the interlayer gun in order to receive the explosive wave and output the explosive wave which will detonate the perforation gun. It can keep the interlayer gun sealed from well liquid after perforating.

  • Fits all kinds of perforating guns

  • No feculence remains in interlayer gun, does not pollute flat and ocean water

Multi-stage bar firing head
The multi-stage bar firing head is designed to detonate TCP guns. When the gun is detonated, it will subsequently detonate the next stage guns

Through-Tubing Swing Jet Perforator
The through-tubing swing jet perforator is designed to perforate in WCP without pulling out the tubing. It can convey charges to the destination through the tubing. After the release detonator is detonated, the trigger is released, the charge is swung to be equal to the axis of the guns, and the electrical detonator is ignited from the surface which will subsequently detonate the detonating cord and charges.

Bridge Plug Setting
Bridge plugs generate a temporary or permanent seal between two zones in a well. CNLC has both basket (through-tubing) and cast-iron bridge plugs.

  • In common conditions, a bridge plug is used to separate the lower layer from the upper one while testing the upper layer
  • To establish a bridge plug below the perforated section that is to be squeezed, cemented or fractured
  • To provide pressure-tight seals for testing casing or for wells that are to be abandoned
  • To set in casing above zones to be abandoned and recover the upper casing.

Through-Tubing Bridge Plugs
Through-tubing bridge plugs offer a fast, easy, and economical way to permanently plug back a well without using expensive workover or snubbing services to pull out production tubing. After the plugback assembly is lowered through the tubing into the casing, serrated slips anchor the assembly to the casing and a basket is expanded to form a strong base for the placement of cement. An internal bypass system allows fluid to migrate through the plug while the cement hardens. The bypass system is closed by a wireline-actuated mechanical valve. The plugback assemblies are available in several sizes for use in 4-1/2 to 9 inch OD casings at temperatures up to 400H.
